A busy work schedule limited my ability to do much birding before dark this equinox. But, I did manage to discover a new park with a pretty decent nature trail that runs along a stream. It's pretty easy to get off the trail and just walk along the stream itself.
In addition to the birds, I also got a really close look at a family of deer wading across the stream. A couple of the does just stood and watched me for several minutes as I wandered around searching for birds.
