JimMcConnell's equinox birds (Sept. 2009)

Who: JimMcConnell
Where: Gloucester, New Jersey, United States
Bird list: Birds of the Equinox 2009

Report:

National Park dredge spoils is a weedy area immediately across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, PA. It can be good for migrants. Today was pretty good for them, as I had nice looks at a Connecticut Warbler, in the same field of vision as a Lincoln's Sparrow. Also enjoyable finds for the day were immature Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Blue Grosbeak, 2 Bobwhite, fall-plumaged Blackpoll Warbler, and a fair number of Bobolinks.
