Birds of the Equinox: March 2009
In March 2009, birders around the world documented birdlife within 12 hours either side of the equinox. In prose, photos, poems, and lists, here are their stories. You can explore using the map or the illustrated list below it. The next solar birding event will be 21 June 2009.

The Tropics
Here in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea it's rainy season, and it's one of the most intense rainy seasons many people can remember.
