Weather: Sunny, 5 degrees Celsius, 12cm of snow cover.
Habitat: Desert with sage brush cover, agave and a short pine species

This was a 5 hour trip around Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. I drove around the park loop and hiked the Keystone Thrust trail. It had just snowed the day before at higher elevations and all trails.
