Rainbow Pitta (Pitta iris)

Incredible looks as the bird preened and fed -- wow! Black head and underparts, brown 'horseshoe' on crown. Pinkish gape. Olive green back and upperwing coverts, black primaries with white patch at base. Turquoise-blue iridescent shoulder patch; a few iridescent green feathers right above absurdly short tail. Red undertail coverts. Awesome.
