Absolutely one of the most spectacular birds in the world. Saw my first pair almost as soon as I'd stepped out of my room -- wow! Male with yellow bill, "mohawk" head feathers, brilliant green head, breast, back, upper tail, four uppertail covert streamers, and elongated, lanceolate wing coverts. Deep red belly. White undertail (i.e., outer tail feathers). Black primaries and secondaries. Yellow bill. Female with black-and-white barred outer tail feathers, gray-green head and breast; red lower underparts, dark bill.
