Squacco Heron (Ardeola ralloides)

Location: Bamendjing Reservoir (Bambalang, North-West Province, Cameroon)
Notes:
Resting in a loose group on mudflats. Appeared "dirty" all over -- pale brown. In flight, bright white wings and tail, which disappeared again when they landed.
