Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus)
Date: 10 April 2009
Location: Village Creek Drying Beds (Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, United States)
Number observed: 1
Notes:
Adult alternate. Dark iris and facial skin. Thin bluish-white line from top of eye across top of face and bill. Another line, gently sloping, from bottom of eye to base of bill. Did not meet behind eye. Looked rather V-shaped, as opposed to bold, curvy outline on White-faced face. Seemed to have less extensive green iridesence on crown that nearby White-faceds.
