Eastern Marsh Harrier (Circus spilonotus)

Location: Ukarumpa (Kainantu, Eastern Highlands, Papua New Guinea)
Notes:
classic harrier jizz; black head and throat with neat border between throat and white breast/underparts; black underwing tips as if dipped in ink; grayish upperside with blackish outer primaries and pale whitish patch on inside of primaries; next day observed bird closer and saw faint streaks coming off black throat and noted mottled blackish scapulars
