Notes:
Radnor Lake is a manmade lake built around the beginning of the 20th Century, to provide water for the Radnor Train Yards in Nashville, TN. In the 1960's the lake was purchased to save it from developers and was made into one of the Premier State Parks in Tennessee. With almost ten miles of walking trails, it is a Mecca for birders, wildflower enthusiasts, and recreational walkers. It is a DESIGNATED State Natural Area, so picnics, swimming, fishing, and dogs are NOT allowed. However it is a prime photography area, and was a favorite of the late, John Netherton, a Nashville native, who made a book about it, and did a lot of photography there.
