About me:
Birdlife Trogons bird club is a local branch of Birdlife South Africa based in Port Shepstone on the Kwazulu Natal south coast.
Regular outings are featured in the South Coast Herald and Fever newspapers. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the day.

This site is used to record observations by the club members and is a work in progress.
Please note that this system uses IOC English names and spellings which may differ from the ones we are all used to down here in sunny SA.
Taxonomy may also be slightly conflicting with Roberts VII, ie Steppe Buzzard still seems to be classified as a sub-species of Common Buzzard according to the IOC.
