I'm looking for a way to find out what other birders have found at a particular location. For example: I will be in Naples, Florida in a few weeks. Can I use Birdstack to find out what others have found in or near Naples?
I would suggest using the "View and Explore Data" link on eBird. eBird has great sightings data for most of the US, so you can see what other birders are seeing, how common various species are, etc.
Birdstack is just three days old (!), and it will take time for our databases to build up before we can offer this sort of data. We have a few thousand observations recorded so far, but eBird has millions.
