I keep trying to shorten the data entry time. Too bad one can't import a checklist like birdclip. I would like to take lists I make say for Texas and to edit them for say Travis County.
When I make a list from "search for observations" I would like to be able to move it to "My locations". This way editing a few birds out to make a different list wouldn't require the often redundant input.
Any suggestions for quicker input, or grouped entries?

Hi Kenny,

Did you know that you can import data from CSV files? Follow the "import" link from the "Record an observation" page for instructions. I'm not familiar with birdclip. But is this the type of import you're looking for?

You don't need to move lists from "my observations" to "my locations." The way Birdstack is designed to work is that you will set up locations (e.g., Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, United States) and then associate specific observations with those locations.

Then, if you want to see a list of the birds you've seen in Dallas County, you can use the "search" feature to search for observations from all locations in Dallas County.

Hope this helps.
