&lt;p&gt;I saw what we Brits would call a Lesser Redpoll at lunchtime today. It's not in the database under that name, or Carduelis cabaret, so I guess it hasn't been split by the IOC from Common Redpoll. Is that right?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Should I record it as a Common Redpoll of the race cabaret?&lt;/p&gt;
